We use this timer every day. You don't have to use the loud alarm unless you want to the vibrate mode works quite well. No more ruined food/tea/etc.

In the world of kitchen timers, this one is just so-so. I don't see why it carries a premium price. If you were going to carry it around all of the time or always be right next to it, it might be okay. But if you are in another room, away from the timer, you may not know that it has gone off. Another reviewer states that it can be heard in another room or on another floor of the house. That is certainly not true for the one I received. The "buzz" of the buzzer is actually quite dull. I'd prefer a timer that has a sharp ring rather than a low buzz. For my purposes, which do not include carrying it around, the vibrator adds nothing. Plus the buzz/vibrate time is relatively short. I like a timer that allows me to be out of the room and come back, say, 90 seconds later and still have a continuous alarm. This one has an intermittent short reminder that the alarm has gone off, but the sound from the device is not one that instantly commands attention, unless you are in proximity to it.

Let me be clear. The timer is accurate and is not a piece of junk. It just has a lot of limitations, especially when it seeks to announce its presence.

I have used 4 or 5 different brand of hair trimmers and clippers. All were less expensive but I thought they would get the job done. Was I ever wrong. None of them even come close to the Oster 76 clippers and the Oster finisher trimmer. They are both very quite and the cut is very even. Don't waste your time and money on the cheaper ones. In the long run you will spend more money.

After its introduction many years ago, the 76s are still the best on the market. I've been cutting my own hair (short buzz cuts) since the early 90s, and I got tired of the cheap Wahl units leaving stray hairs, and having to go over, and over, and over my head with the clippers.

Alas, last year I sprung for a used set of 76s on Ebay. I figured, "what the hey, I have more than paid for the 76s with my savings on barber expenses. These babies mow down my hair without bogging down one bit. They are virtually unstoppable. I've expanded my arsenal by purchasing the 00000, 000, 0A, 1, 1 1/2, 2, and 3 1/2 blades. Lately I only use the 1 1/2 and shorter blades as the burr cut is my now my favorite. I honestly think my used 76s will last the rest of my life (I am 53 years old).

Although when I first saw this, I thought it was too big for a newborn, after using one of the smaller newborn hooded towels I have, I changed my mind. It is big enough to wrap him up completely and keep him from getting chilled after his bath. He is now 3 1/2 months old and the smaller towels are pretty much useless. The thick terry dries him off quickly and is very absorbent - thinner towels will leave you wet as the water soaks right through!

I was a full time bus mechanic and now an instructor of diesel mechanics in Alaska. I have used the 3/8", 1/2", and the 3/4" IR Titanium's and they are all Ingersol Rand claims they are. The units are light, powerful, and last. I have used my 1/2" drive for over 4 years in a busy shop and it is as powerful now as when it was new. The only down side is that they do not have a muffler and are noisy.

I highly recommend it.

We received the cake topper just a few days before our wedding which is mainly our fault since we ordered it late. It came with the veil broken and that was a bit stressful but I used superglue to glue it back on and it lasted for the wedding duration.

The quality of the item is 5 out of 10. We were just really sad the veil came broken through the mail which clearly indicated poor packaging.

I'm not a hammock expert, but this is exactly what we were looking for--a well made hammock that wasn't hundreds of dollars, which is probably what you'd have to spend to get a spreader bar-style hammock of similar quality and comfort. My girlfriend, who has a broken foot, is sleeping peacefully in it as we speak. It cradles either of us (5'11" and 5'9") quite well, with effortless support and a cool, soft feel. The size is just right, very ample for one and somewhat cozy for two (a stretch for two lying lengthwise, but possible).

Since we didn't have trees far enough apart in the backyard, we paired it with a particular cypress arc stand from another retailer that is compatible with Mayan hammocks. There aren't very many South American hammock stands online, so if you don't have the right tree setup and aren't prepared to install posts, keep that in mind. We preferred wood to metal stands, as it felt silly to pair a beautiful hammock with a pedestrian-looking stand.

The hammock arrived in two days. Coupled with the free 2-3 day shipping upgrade (from Mexico) summer promotion, this is a no-brainer. All told we got a gorgeous hammock setup for around $300 shipped, and this wonderful hammock gave us room to spend more on the stand. It's going to be a lazy rest of the summer out on the patio.

My family loves this hammock! We can all comfortably fit on it. I'm not an outdoorsy person, but I love laying in it for hours. Plus, when I put my baby in it he goes from screaming to instantly asleep, (very supervised). There's something about the way it wraps around you, swaddling you almost, that's universally comfortable. This is much more comfortable than an American spread bar hammock. I'm buying two more as gifts!

I'm not a hammock expert, but this is exactly what we were looking for--a well made hammock that wasn't hundreds of dollars, which is probably what you'd have to spend to get a spreader bar-style hammock of similar quality and comfort. My girlfriend, who has a broken foot, is sleeping peacefully in it as we speak. It cradles either of us (5'11" and 5'9") quite well, with effortless support and a cool, soft feel. The size is just right, very ample for one and somewhat cozy for two (a stretch for two lying lengthwise, but possible).

I last used my i450 several months ago when it performed just fine except for the annoying series of groans, moans, and clicks for no apparent reason while it was sitting idle. Then I went north for the summer and this year it refused to print black text despite a new tank and head cleaning operation. Same problem as reported by an ealier review. I suspect that the print head went bad. Am awaiting tech support.

Bought mine in Nov.'04 - worked great until the print head went out in April'05. Now it's August only 4 months later and the print head as once again gone kaput. $80 bucks in 4 months, what a piece of crap. I do not recommend this printer to anyone, in fact I wish I had bought another Epson! Anyone with a limited income should steer clear of this shoddy printer.

I bought this just under a month ago. I have completely boycotted Seagate for their dire external disk quality and switched to Western Digital. However I have lost 2 hard drives since March. The first was a 1Tb drive which admittedly was a couple years old, but I expect these things to last several years otherwise what's their purpose, other than to lull users into a false sense of security. On that occasion I lost 2 years of valuable data.

The replacement was a 2Tb WD drive. Today, without any warning or slightest hint something is wrong, the drive simply stopped working, not being recognized any more by the Mac, and even attempting to reformat has not been successful. When I lost 2 years worth of data I committed to never relying on a single drive again. So I bought a replacement and started storing my data on it. This weekend I decided to go out and buy a mirror disk which is one main one and one backup. I'm starting to believe this is the only reliable solution if you value your data.

I have had hard drives for nearly 2 decades and never experienced such a high failure rate as this. Sure I'd have drives fail after 4 years, but that was mostly down to living in a place susceptible to lightning strikes. Just in the past 3 years I must have gone through at least 15 drives in all my devices including internal and external. As mentioned I'd already abandoned Seagate, but if I abandon Western Digital I'm not left with much choice. Before anyone thinks I use hard drives as cricket stumps or as a hammer, all the drives I've referred to have been in a vibration reduced cool area, in other words, looked after.

Perhaps stuffing so much data onto a single drive is compromising the reliability too much, but I'm incensed over the low reliability of this latest drive. Thank God I have the receipt and it's going back for a refund rather than exchange.

Works fabulously! I have moved most of my personal data to it; all video, music, and picture files - and am installing any new programs to it instead of to my laptop's hard drive.

There is a few second delay in finding the files at first, only because it seems to be resting and has to sort of wake up - but nothing that is irritating.

Works fabulously! I have moved most of my personal data to it; all video, music, and picture files - and am installing any new programs to it instead of to my laptop's hard drive.

There is a few second delay in finding the files at first, only because it seems to be resting and has to sort of wake up - but nothing that is irritating.
